What size should I order?

Order your exact waist measurement in inches, measured where you wear your belt. The belt is measured tip-to-middle hole. A 34" belt fits a 34" waist. If between sizes, size up one inch.

How does Badalassi Carlo compare to regular leather belts?

Badalassi Carlo is 4–5oz (1.6–2mm thick), single-piece cut with no bonded layers to delaminate. Most mass-market belts are 2–3oz split leather compressed and glued, which cracks and peels within 1–2 years of daily use.

Will it stretch over time?

Minimal stretch. Vegetable-tanned leather stretches significantly less than chrome-tanned because the tanning process creates denser fiber bonds. Expect 1–2mm of seat break-in the first month, then it holds its shape.

Can I punch extra holes?

Yes. Use a 3.5–4mm round leather punch and a wooden mallet on a solid cutting board. Badalassi Carlo leather punches cleanly without tearing. Space holes 1" apart to match the existing five-hole pattern.
